Alternators and Titanium Sideswipe, Jazz, and Smokescreen

Thought these little groupings of both lines looked cool together. I have them displayed on the top of my TV. Kind of feels like the little Titanium figs are coming out of the cars.

Custom Alternators Silverstreak (G1 Mod)

After going thru the Junkion on the TFW2005 forums, i saw someone who had a G1 Modded Alt Silverstreak for sale. The difference between the G1 SS and the Alt is that there is that hood, roof and trunk are black on the G1, where-as the Alt one is all silver. I got an Alt Ricochet (who is black) in a trade and decided to do the same mod's to my Silverstreak. All in all, pretty easy with just some paint removal and some unscrewing. Check it out.

"Grand" Things Coming Soon...

So i've decide to slow down on purchasing some of the newer guys coming out, except for the new Universe guys like Sideswipe, Silverstreak, and Ironhide. Some of the new Universe guys have been a big disapointment to me, including Silverbolt and Galvatron. They made brief appearances in my collection, only to be sold less than a couple weeks later. I haven't pull the trigger on the new Ultra Magnus Animated figure yet, don't know if I have enough space for him, plus I think if i wait a little, I can get one off the tfw2005 boards for a little cheaper.

One big move I've made is that I've sold most of my MISB (Mint In Sealed Box) Alternators. I had all 31 US versions, but decided since I have most of them loose anyways, at least the ones I liked, that it was time to part with them. They are one of the big reasons I got back into collecting TF's, since they utilized recent car molds from Ford, Jaguar, Honda, Toyota, Etc. However, everytime I looked up, I noticed they were taking a lot of a space, so I felt I could sell them and put them towards more "investment" type pieces.

So hopefully, within the next week or so, I'll get a couple packages and I'll post some new pics of what I'm getting.

TFC #0 G1 Optimus Prime Reissue

I don't know much about the story on this guy, other than that he's really rare, and he doesn't show up too often for sale, at least for under $200 MISB (Mint In Sealed Box). I found him on the tfw2005 boards around 3am when no one was up and ended up being the first one to put on a hold on him. Although I didnt need him, or want him, i couldn't pass up a deal on him for the price he was going for. He arrived in the mail the day after labor day, and i can honestly say this is one nice piece.
